Who we are
At AAtechnics, we help businesses with sustainable energy solutions, including EV charging infrastructure, solar panels, battery storage and integrated solutions that work together intelligently. We also take care of their electrical installations, network cabling, fire detection, intrusion detection and CCTV systems.
Your Role
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Project Manager (M/F/X). You will coordinate and monitor our projects from the order stage through to completion and handover to our service team.
Responsibilities
-
You draw up project schedules and manage the project team, including our own technicians and subcontractors. You make sure everyone knows what needs to be done and when
-
You oversee the financial side of each project: you monitor budgets and costs, clearly define additional work, and ensure the project stays within scope, budget and schedule while meeting the quality standards expected by the customer.
-
You are the customer's main point of contact. You contribute ideas, provide advice and keep the customer informed at every stage of the project. In doing so, you build customer relationships that last beyond a single project.
-
You make decisions about materials, organise logistics, provide technical support when needed and oversee electrical inspections. You plan ahead and solve problems effectively.
- You will develop safety plans, organize pre-work meetings, and conduct site inspections to ensure safety on the job site.
Your profile
- You have a degree in industrial engineering (for example, in energy or electromechanics) or a bachelor's degree in electricity, electrical engineering or electromechanics. Equivalent experience is also considered. You have strong knowledge of (industrial) electrical systems.
- You have strong project management skills. Planning, organising and making decisions come naturally to you, and you know how to motivate and lead people.
- You communicate fluently and professionally, both internally and externally, and can manage projects in Dutch and French.
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and work independently, proactively and with a focus on results.
- You are flexible: an early start on site or a handover that takes a little longer than expected doesn't put you off.
- You think ahead, take a hands-on approach and tackle problems as they arise.
- You hold a VOL-VCA safety certificate or are willing to obtain one.
-
You hold a category B driving licence.
What makes this role unique?
-
You will join a small, dynamic team of enthusiastic colleagues.
-
You can make a positive contribution to society by actively helping to deliver sustainable energy projects.
-
You have room to take initiative and work independently, with flexibility on both sides.
-
Your main base will be Otterburcht (www.otterburcht.eu), a modern coworking site overlooking green spaces, close to the heart of Ghent.
- Regular after-work activities and team-building events.
